"The death of Ivan Ilyich" is a deep psychological drama, the work to which Tolstoy has put his soul and his real, not far-fetched (pardon tautogram) thoughts - about the futility of earthly fame, the illusory nature of family ties, and Yes, the impermanence of life. Not the suddenness of the death of Bulgakov, and the gradual conscious nursing disassembled Lev Nikolayevich brilliant and so piercing that gives you shivers. If Tolstoy had written just this one novel, he was already train entered the first rank of Russian classics. \r\n\r\pesto and even brilliant late the story "Hadji Murat" is not just a story - it is a Testament Tolstoy, his confession.
