F. Dostoevsky and L. Tolstoy. What`s their proximity and what`s the contradiction?

214
Their proximity to Lutheran talent. In all, they are completely different people. Dostoevsky was globalaverage and Orthodox man, as Tolstoy sought the truth in good intentions and justice, like modern liberals, forgetting that good intentions pave the road to hell. \r\n\r\prose to say so, for Dostoevsky, as for every believer, the ultimate truth is God, and for the Tolstoy - life, good intentions and fairness. And yet, Dostoevsky believed in God, and Tolstoy in person.
