elegy written

In elegy written in a country churchyard what are the allergories in lines 49-91?

This part of the larger poem is an extended allegory.  The point of the whole passage is that the poor and anonymous people who are buried in the churchyard were as good as anyone else (or at least they could have been, in the right circumstances).

In these lines, there are many ways in which Gray tries to get this point across.  He likens the poor to various famous people and he talks about how they could have been just as good or important as those people if they had been given the chance.
